Australia: Rallies demand immigration ban

The indigenous people here held rallies in the country's major cities of Melbourne, Brisbane, and the capital Canberra to demand a complete ban on immigration. Meanwhile, immigrants held separate rallies and demanded strict action against those who made racist remarks.

Addressing an anti-immigration rally in Sydney, leader Michael Brown said that the government is allowing new immigrants to come in view of the vote bank, due to which Australia's infrastructure has been completely derailed. Due to the shortage of housing, high rents, increased unemployment, traffic on the roads, crowding in public trains and buses, and inflation, the living standards of Australia have been badly affected. He demanded that the country's condition and direction be changed by banning the arrival of new immigrants for the next five years.
