'We have reached the Moon and Mars, now we have to look into deep space', Prime Minister Modi gave a new goal

  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday gave a new goal to scientists and said that the next step is to explore deep space. The Prime Minister urged scientists to prepare for deep space exploration missions so that the mysteries that will unravel the future of humanity can be understood.

In a video address on National Space Day, Prime Minister Modi announced that India is preparing an "astronaut pool". He invited the youth to join this pool or group. It is worth noting that on 23 August 2023, India became the first country in the world to make a successful soft landing on the south pole of the moon under the Chandrayaan-3 mission. National Space Day is celebrated on 23 August every year to commemorate the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission.

Address given to scientists
PM Modi said, we have reached the moon and Mars. Now we have to look into deep space, where many secrets useful for the future of humanity are hidden. Achieving one achievement after another in the space sector has now become the natural trait of India and its scientists. The infinite expanse of space constantly reminds us that no destination is final.

The Prime Minister said, India is moving ahead rapidly in key technologies like semi-cryogenic engine and electric propulsion. Thanks to the hard work of Indian scientists, India will soon launch the Gaganyaan mission and also build its own space station. The Prime Minister also asked the private sector entrepreneurs if five startup unicorns can be created in the next five years. The Prime Minister wanted the private sector to come forward so that India can launch 50 rockets every year in the next five years.

Shubanshu Shukla mentioned
The Prime Minister said that just three days ago, he met Group Captain Shubanshu Shukla, who hoisted the national flag on the International Space Station (ISS). Shubanshu made every Indian proud by hoisting the national flag on the ISS. When Shubanshu hoisted the tricolour, the feeling of touching it was beyond words. Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah posted on Instagram, "On National Space Day, we celebrate the historic moment when Chandrayaan-3 touched the South Pole of the Moon. At that moment, the heart of every Indian was filled with pride. I heartily congratulate the talented scientists of ISRO."

Astronaut Shubanshu Shukla said that the current time is a "golden era" for India in space exploration. Speaking at the National Space Day event, he said that the entire world is excited about India's space programme. Shubanshu also inaugurated the Aryabhatta Gallery at the Nehru Planetarium.

ISRO Chairman praises PM
ISRO Chairman credits Prime Minister Modi for the success of Chandrayaan-3 Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief V. Narayanan attributed the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission to the visionary thinking and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking at the main event of National Space Day in New Delhi, the ISRO Chairman said, 23 August 2023 was a historic day.

He said that India successfully landed Chandrayaan-3 near the south pole of the moon. We became the only country to do so. The Prime Minister of India is a visionary. He said, we are going to launch the Chandrayaan-4 mission. We are going to launch the Venus Orbiter mission. We are going to set up a space station called BAS (Indian Space Station) by 2035. Its first module will be launched by 2028.
