Big update about missing Russian plane, debris found in this area; More than 46 people were on board

  A Russian plane has suddenly disappeared from radar. The plane is an AN-24 passenger plane. There were about 50 people on board. The plane lost contact with air traffic control in Russia's Far East on Thursday. According to Interfax and Shot news channels, the plane, operated by Angara Airlines, was en route to the city of Tynda in the Amur region, bordering China, and is believed to have been a few kilometers from its destination when it lost contact.

Regional governor Vasily Orlov said that according to preliminary information, the plane was carrying 43 passengers, including five children, and six crew members. "All necessary forces and means have been deployed to search for the plane," he wrote on Telegram. However, the Emergencies Ministry has put the number of people on board at about 40.
