Amarnath Yatra 2025: Excitement for Amarnath Yatra abroad too, pilgrims from 6 countries paid obeisance at the holy cave

Lord Shiva is not limited to Hinduism alone. A living example of Shiva consciousness is being seen in this year's Shri Amarnath Yatra. On Thursday, 9 foreign pilgrims from countries like America, Canada, Germany, Britain, Australia and Spain completed the arduous journey to the holy Amarnath cave and bowed at the feet of Mahadev and said - Jai Bhole. All described the journey as a unique blend of devotion and service. Those who completed the journey included Mikaila Petra Dana and Jemima Crocker (Britain), Emily Sara and Ross Norman (Canada), Anna Lena (Germany), Maria Isabel (Spain), Lara Eve (USA), Jan Joseph (Australia) and Svetlana (Estonia). All of them have been connected to Shiva energy through regular meditation and yoga for the last 4-5 years.

Ross Norman said that we have been practicing the Shiva element for years, but the silence, the energy and the tearful peace that we experienced as soon as we entered this cave was unprecedented. This is not just a pilgrimage, but a gateway to consciousness. For them, forms like Lord Shiva, Shakti, Ganesh and Hanuman are not limited to any one religion but are symbols of the energy of the universe, which connects the entire world.

Despite the difficulties of the journey, all the devotees sincerely appreciated the help provided by the Jammu and Kashmir administration, local people, security forces and service teams. Some of these devotees walked on foot, while some took the help of palanquins and horses.
