Modi wants to make 140 crore people self-reliant, Home Minister addresses the beneficiaries of PM Sway-Nidhi Yojana

  Ahmedabad: Home Minister Amit Shah said on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to make 140 crore people, including the poor, self-reliant in the country and he has worked with dedication for this goal.
Shah was addressing a gathering of beneficiaries of the PM Swanidhi Yojana here. This scheme will prove to be helpful in providing easy loans to the poor. The Home Minister said that PM Modi wants to make India self-reliant in space technology and defense sector. Also their goal is to make the poor people self-reliant.

Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupinder Patel was also present at the program of disbursing loans to the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister's Street Vendor Self-Reliance Fund (Swainidhi Yojana). Shah further said that Modi has invited to make the country self-reliant. Modi wants to make the country self-reliant in space technology, defense, all types of trade and other sectors.

Prime Minister Modi wants to make 140 crore people self-reliant, including all the poor. Apart from space technology, research and development, the Prime Minister has dedicated himself to improving the living standards of 60 crore poor people.

The Home Minister said that during the past 9 years, three crore people got their homes, four crore people got electricity connection, 10 crore people got gas cylinders, 12 crore people got toilets, 80 crore people got free ration and 60 crore people got has been included in the health insurance scheme of five lakh rupees. He said that various schemes are being implemented to bring the poor people out of poverty.
