'No need to panic, need to be vigilant', the statement of Delhi AIIMS came on the new sub-variant JN1 of Corona

New Delhi: After the increase in cases of the new sub-variant JN1 of Kovid 19 in the country, the doctors of the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIMS) have advised people not to panic, but to be vigilant. Dr. Neeraj Nischal at AIIMS said that people are getting infected with the new sub-variant of Covid-19 in many states of the country. Its symptoms are mild in patients. So there is no need to panic, but there is a need to be vigilant.

Dr. Nischal, Professor in the Department of Medicine at AIIMS Delhi, said that we have been saying that such waves will keep coming. Even during the first and second waves we predicted that more and more mutated forms of this virus would come our way. This will be the stage where it becomes more contagious. In this, the death rate or the rate of getting infected will be low.

Dr Nischal said that you can say that there is a war between humans and this virus that both are also trying to stay alive. He said that people are getting infected with this sub variant but it is not causing as much danger as the earlier delta variant. He said that the most important thing for you today is that we are more aware of this virus and we know how to deal with it. So if you are seeing cases increasing it shows that our monitoring system is in the right place.
