Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi always questions the ruling party through his comments. Meanwhile, while answering a question related to the 1984 riots and the Congress's relations with the Sikh community, Rahul Gandhi said that many mistakes made by the Congress happened when he was not there. He further said that he would be happy to take responsibility for whatever mistakes the party has made in its history. Rahul Gandhi said that he has publicly said that what happened in the 80s was wrong. Know what Rahul Gandhi said? In fact, a Sikh student questioned the Congress leader about what efforts he is making to establish harmony with the Sikh community. The student also referred to the statement made by Rahul Gandhi during his previous visit to the US in which he had said that the fight he was fighting was about whether Sikhs would be allowed to wear turbans in India or not. In response to this, Rahul Gandhi said that I don't think Sikhs are afraid of anything. My statement was, do we want an India where people feel uncomfortable expressing their religion? As far as the mistakes of the Congress party are concerned, many of them happened when I was not there, but I am happy to take responsibility for every mistake made in the history of the Congress party.
