  Amritsar: The Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib has been requested by Rabinder Narayanan, MD and President of PTC Network and G-Next Media Pvt Ltd to stop the commercialization of Gurbani broadcast from other Gurdwaras using the technological age. After the accusations of commercialization on the PTC broadcasting from Sri Harmandir Sahib, now the MD of PTC has also written a letter to the Jathedar and sent the blueprint of the Gurbani broadcast on other channels. He wrote that some channels are engaged in the race to earn money by broadcasting Gurbani. Advertisements are also made over the Gurbani being broadcast from Gurudwara Sri Bangla Sahib, sponsorship is also taken and Sangat is also urged to send Maya. Similarly, there are scrolls and sponsorships on the Gurbani broadcast of Sri Patna Sahib. He wrote to the Jathedar that Gurbani is the same, there is only one Guru, even if it is transmitted from a Guru's house. It is requested that the transmission of Gurbani should be from any Guru Ghar, its misuse, sponsorship or asking money from the Sangat in any way should be prevented. He said that our nation is one and you are leading the entire nation and not only Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Amritsar. An order should be issued by you for the nation, for the channels, for the committees, that no sponsorship should be taken for the transmission of Gurbani from any Guru Ghar, nor any money be sought from any Guru Ghar or Sangat. Whatever maya is collected in the name of the Guru, it should be immediately deposited in the circle of the Guru by those institutions. Gurbai is not something to be sold, so those who sold it should deposit all their wealth in Guru's Golak.
