Pakistan will yearn for every drop! Another tough step by India after the Indus Treaty; Chenab river water blocked by Baglihar Dam

After the Pahalgam attack, the Indian government abrogated the Indus Water Treaty. Now, taking the first step in this direction, the water of Baglihar Dam has been stopped. According to sources, the government has stopped the supply of water from the Baglihar Dam built on the Chenab River. The government is also planning to stop the water of the Kishanganga Dam built on the Jhelum River soon.

After the abrogation of the Indus Water Treaty, the Indian government can control the flow of water in Pakistan. With the help of the Baglihar Dam built in Ramban in Jammu and Kashmir and the Kishanganga Dam built in North Kashmir, the Indian government can stop the flow of water whenever it wants and can open the dam at any time.

What will be the loss to Pakistan

India can reduce the flow of the Jhelum and Chenab rivers by closing the Baglihar and Kishanganga dams. Due to this, there is a possibility of drought in Pakistan. Not only this, India can open the dam at any time, due to which there is a possibility of flooding in Pakistan.
