Will action be taken against Pakistan before monsoon? PM Modi's statement increases speculation; Know what is the preparation

After the Pahalgam terror attack and the government's high-level determination to eliminate the terrorists and their masters, speculations have started about the timing of the military operation. In this regard, the meaning of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement 'the task is huge and the time is short' is also being interpreted. Based on the experiences of previous wars, military operations are not expected to take place during the monsoon. This means that it will have to be completed by June before the monsoon.

The 1965 war was fought during the monsoon season
In the 78 years since independence, India had launched a military operation on its own in which Pakistan was defeated and Bangladesh became independent. The then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had asked the army to launch the military operation in March, but the then Army Chief General Manik Shah had made it clear that considering the need for military preparedness and the monsoon, it would be possible to launch it only after nine months.

Considering the Prime Minister's statement about the short time frame in this regard, the possibility of completing the military operation before the monsoon seems more likely. If we look at the past wars, only the 1965 war started during the monsoon season. It started in August and ended in September, in the midst of the monsoon. In this, Pakistan faced a crushing defeat.
