New revelation in Odisha train accident, official said - physical tampering with signal

  Bhubaneswar: Khurda DRM Rinkesh Roy has given an explosive statement regarding the terrible train accident that took place at Bahanaga in Balasore district. He has said that if no physical tampering is done, the signal will not be disturbed. This is not technically possible. They clearly say that the signal has been physically tampered with.

Signal Tampering: Broken DRM

The DRM of Khurda said that there was a green signal on the main line. Pre condition will be fine, only then green signal is given. If something goes wrong there will never be a green signal, a red light will come on.

He said that it was clear from the data lock that there was a green signal on the main line leading to the Coromandel Express. The DRM of Khurda said that this is the reason why there is a fear of physical tampering with the signal. Fear is being expressed that such a big train accident has happened due to this disturbance.

275 innocent people lost their lives in the accident

It may be mentioned that a terrible train accident took place in Bahanga on Friday evening. 275 people died and 1,208 people were injured in the accident. More than 1009 injured have been discharged while the rest are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. After identification, the dead bodies are also being handed over to the heirs.
