198 Indian fishermen released from Pakistan jail, two dead; He was imprisoned for four and a half years

  Karachi: The government of Pakistan has released 198 Indian fishermen on the Attari-Wahga border on Friday night. These fishermen were arrested by the Pakistani authorities for allegedly illegally fishing in the country's territorial waters. 198 Indian fishermen were released from Malir Jail in Karachi on Thursday evening.

Maler Jail Superintendent Nazir Tunio said that they have released the first batch of Indian fishermen and two more will be released in June and July. He said that we have released 198 prisoners on Thursday while 200 and 100 more will be released later. Tuneo said that 200 Indian fishermen were to be released from Malir Jail on Thursday, but two of them died due to illness.
