  Honolulu: A 5.0 magnitude earthquake occurred on Friday in the Mauna Loa volcano in the US state of Hawaii. According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred in a sequence in the volcano. Earthquake shocks were felt in the surrounding areas during the earthquake. A magnitude 4.6 quake struck 24 seconds before the fastest magnitude 5.1 quake, according to the USGS. Scientists say that this volcano is very disturbed. Hawaii County Mayor Mitch Roth said there were no immediate reports of major damage or injuries. He later said that there was minor damage in Pahla. A part of a building has collapsed.
