  An active-duty member of the U.S. Air Force set himself on fire outside the Israeli embassy in Washington, DC on Sunday, according to Air Force and local officials. Officials in the U.S. City Fire Department spokesman Vito Maggiolo said the Secret Service extinguished the blaze outside the embassy in northwest Washington around 1 p.m. The man was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.
