  Ottawa: India Canada Row: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has started trying to mend the deteriorating diplomatic relations between India and Canada. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shared his reaction to the relationship between the two countries. He said that Canada does not want to worsen the deteriorating relations with India. Along with this, he said that Canada is trying to engage with New Delhi in a responsible and constructive manner. Need to have Canadian diplomats in India: Trudeau PM Trudeau further said that despite the diplomatic dispute between the two countries over the killing of a Khalistani separatist, Canada wants to maintain constructive relations with New Delhi, i.e. India. Talking to reporters in Ottawa, Trudeau also said that it is very important for Canada to have diplomats in India. Trudeau added that we are currently going through a very challenging time with India. Prime Minister Trudeau said that India is an emerging economic power and an important geopolitical player.
