  New Delhi: The Income Tax (IT) department has raided the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) office. News agency ANI, citing sources, said that the IT team raided the BBC offices in Delhi and Mumbai on Tuesday morning. According to the information, the IT officials reached the BBC office in the morning and the phones of the employees were switched off. The BBC office in Delhi is in the HT House building on KG Marg. No official statement has yet been released by the BBC. Undeclared Emergency: Congress Congress has declared the raid on the BBC office an undeclared emergency. A tweet from the official Twitter handle of the Congress Party. The tweet read, "First came BBC documentary, got banned. Now IT raids BBC. Unannounced emergency."
