Nitish has turned Bihar politics upside down again.

Bihar's record 10-time Chief Minister Nitish Kumar surprised everyone by filing his nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha elections today. With his election to the Rajya Sabha, the post of Bihar's Chief Minister will fall vacant. Speculations are being made that a BJP leader will take over the post of Chief Minister. If this happens, then for the first time in Bihar, BJP will become the Chief Minister. According to political circles, Nitish's son Nishant will be made the Deputy Chief Minister. This decision of Nitish will change the political divisions of Bihar.

Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar filed his nomination papers in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Earlier in the morning, Nitish Kumar had expressed his intention to go to the Rajya Sabha and said that this is the only house of which he has not been a member till now. Nitish Kumar, who has been serving as the Chief Minister since 2005, said that the new government formed in the state will get his full support and guidance.
