Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Deepke alleged that the government is allegedly trying to influence the results of the elections by deleting names from the electoral rolls. He questioned that if the deletion of the names of more than 13 crore voters is not called 'setting', then what else should be called? While addressing the reporters, Deepke said that the difference between victory and defeat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections was only two percent, while it is being claimed that the names of more than 13 crore voters have been deleted. He also alleged strict restrictions in Delhi to curb protests against Special Reform of Votes (SIR). Questioning the slogan of 'One Country, One Election', Deepke said that the real aim of the government is 'One Country, One Party, One Leader'. He alleged that people carrying the tricolor were also detained. The CJP has announced a 'Lahira do Tiranga' march at Central Park in Connaught Place on Friday. All India Students Association (AISA) president Neha Bora and student leader Ayesha Ghosh also accused the police of taking action against protesters and journalists. Ghosh urged people to unite to protect democracy. Actor and activist Prakash Raj alleged that the purpose of the SIR is not only to erase the names of voters, but also to erase the evidence of alleged irregularities in the previous elections. He said that the election has been won illegally under the alleged conspiracy and evidence is being collected to prove it.
