  The entire city was in a state of panic on Monday morning after a sensational threat was received to blow up the Ludhiana residence of global star and famous Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and the mayor's office of the Municipal Corporation. This terrifying threatening email was sent to the official email account of the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation, after which the corporation officials and the police administration immediately tightened security. As soon as the threat was received, the police's hi-tech teams, bomb disposal squad and dog squad immediately swung into action. The administration has deployed a heavy police force around Diljit Dosanjh's Ludhiana residence and at the Zone-A office of the Municipal Corporation. For security reasons, the entire building of the Zone-A office is being evacuated and a thorough search is being carried out. Municipal Commissioner Neeru Katyal confirmed, “I informed the Police Commissioner as soon as I received the threatening mail. As a precaution, the entire building has been evacuated and an investigation has been started.”
