Aryan Khan involved in conspiracy, amount of drugs recovered immaterial: NCB

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) said on Wednesday that Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was involved in a conspiracy and therefore should not be granted bail in the Mumbai cruise drugs bust case.
In the remand reply to Aryan Khan's bail plea, the NCB said the role of one accused cannot be dissected from another and even if there is no recovery of a small substance, the accused are involved in conspiracy.

“Khan was accused of being used to procure contraband, and the contraband was found in the custody of [Arbaaz] Merchant. The investigations pertaining to transactions abroad need to be investigated and are being investigated,” the NCB said.

A special NDPS court in Mumbai had directed the NCB to file its reply on Aryan Khan's bail plea by Wednesday. The anti-drugs agency is opposing the star kid's bail application.

Aryan Khan and others were charged with offences under Section 8(c), 20(b), 27, 28, 29 and 35 of the NDPS Act. On October 7, he was remanded to judicial custody for 14 days after which he immediately moved court seeking bail.
