Iran-Israel War: Crude Oil reaches $146; Petrol and Diesel may become expensive

The Iran war has sent crude oil and natural gas prices up by 30 percent in the international market. A major gas plant in Qatar has been shut down due to attacks by Iran on oil and gas plants in neighboring countries, which has led to a 30 percent increase in gas prices in Europe.

Since the start of the war, crude oil prices for India have almost doubled to $146 per barrel. If prices continue to rise at this rate, petrol and diesel prices in India could rise by Rs 10 to Rs 15. This is likely to put a huge burden on the pockets of the common man.
