IRCTC Ticket Booking: Now you will be able to book 24 online train tickets every month, Railways has issued a new order.

Good news for passengers booking tickets online on the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website and app. The Railways has announced an increase in the limit for online ticket booking. The benefit will be available to both Aadhaar-linked user IDs and those user IDs that are not linked to Aadhaar. On the IRCTC website or app, user IDs that are not linked to Aadhaar have been given the facility to book a maximum of six tickets online in a month. A maximum of 12 online tickets can be booked in a month with an Aadhaar-linked user ID.

The ticket to be booked is verified through the Aadhaar of one of the passengers. Under the new system, user IDs not linked to Aadhaar will be able to book 12 online tickets in a month instead of six.

By linking it with Aadhaar and making the user ID of one of the booked tickets verifiable through Aadhaar, the number of online tickets booked can now be doubled to 24 in a month instead of 12.
